Several Dancers Core, Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex, and The Field Present:
 
  A Mixed Discipline Workgroup for Indepedent artists, Choreographers, musicians, composers, writers, poets, playwrights, performance artists, filmmakers, visual artists, and artists who merge the disciplines 
 

Several Dancers Core presents the Spring 2008 session of Fieldwork, which consists of ten weekly sessions of facilitated performing and viewing of works-in-progress for artists of all mediums, with artist feedback. Fieldwork sessions are designed for artists working in various disciplines including Dance, Theater, and Writing.

The facilitator for Spring 2008 will be Neil Ellis Orts. Neil Ellis Orts is a writer and performer living in Houston, Texas. His short stories have appeared most recently in Windhover, published by the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, and Charmed Lives, an anthology edited by Toby Johnson and Steve Berman. He has performed his short performance pieces at showcases in Chicago, Houston, and Atlanta. In 2006, he launched a small press, neoNuma Arts, with the anthology, Able to... www.neonuma.com.

For those interested in learning more about Fieldwork before registering, you may attend the first session on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 free of charge.

The session begins Tuesday, February 19, 2008 and continues weekly through Tuesday, April 22, 2008. The informal showcase will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
