"Arias from Messiah"
Several Dancers Core presents CORE Performance Company's "Arias from Messiah" together with live music from the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra on Sunday, February 24 at 3 p.m. The dance enlivens the beauty of the selected arias from George Frideric Handel's master work. CORE Performance Company returns from Amsterdam
CORE Performance Company has recently returned from Amsterdam, Netherlands, home of commissioned guest choreographer, Beppie Blankert. In Amsterdam, the company continued to develop Blankert's piece, "Cumulus," which they began last fall when Blankert came to Atlanta for several weeks. For those of you who attended our Salon with Blankert, where the beginning of the piece was shown, this continuation of the creation period led to further editing and refining of the movement and concepts in the piece.

SDC receives grant from Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation
Several Dancers Core is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation to fund our Dynamic X-Change Healing Arts Program. The Falcons Youth Foundation is the charitable arm of the Atlanta Falcons, and its mission is to help prevent childhood obesity through fitness opportunities. The grant will support movement classes for children.

Spring Fieldwork Workshop
Several Dancers Core will offer the Spring Fieldwork Workshop for independent artists in the Atlanta community on Thursday nights from 7:30-9:30 p.m. beginning on February 21. This workshop is a tool for artists working in any discipline to grow their work through weekly showing and facilitated feedback from their peers about their works-in-progress. At the end of the ten-week process, there is an informal showcase performance where the general public can view the works that have been created over the course of the workshop. Master class with David Dorfman
