SDC receives grants from foundations and governmental agencies
More good news! SDC has recently received news that the company has been awarded several grants. The Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund has awarded SDC two grants. First is a Toolbox award to fund a consultant to create an Income Generation Plan for us, and the second is to implement that plan, $50,000 over 2 years to support a Fund Development/Company Manager position.
Additionally, SDC has received Capacity Building funding from Georgia Council for the Arts, and The Harland Foundation, for the development of a Business Plan for CORE Performance Company.

SDC's 26th Season Concludes
Several Dancers Core has successfully completed our 26th Season! It was filled with creation, outreach and performance. Highlights include the tour of Corazón Abriendo (Heart Opening) that was performed 10 times, in 6 cities, in 2 countries! Lunchtime in the Studio continued for its 7th Season of offering an inside view of creating contemporary dance, Fieldwork workshops for independent artists were held in fall and spring and Dynamic X-Change Healing Arts Programs were carried out with partners at Latin American Association and CHRIS Kids.
Looking forward to our 27th Season, we have exciting plans for guest choreographers' commissioned projects, and more installments of Lunchtime and Fieldwork. We also hope to expand our Dynamic X-Change partners, so if you know of any service organizations whose populations would benefit from healing through movement, please let us know!
