Announcing the 2007-08 Season
Several Dancers Core is excited to announce our 27th Season! Follow the link below to see the complete calendar of events. CORE Performance Company will perform Arias from Messiah, an intimate version of the work set to Handel's masterwork, together with members of the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, on February 24, 2008. Throughout the season, CORE will be in the studio with guest choreographers whose works will make up an evening of international collaboration. The choreographers commissioned include Alicia Sanchez from Mexico and Beppie Blankert from The Netherlands. The performance won't be this season, but you can meet the choreographers and learn about their works as they create them at our Salon evenings, at times to be announced. Lunchtime in the Studio begins its 8th season on October 4, and a Fieldwork workshop for artists will be offered in fall and spring.

Dynamic X-Change:
Summer program and new partners
Dynamic X-Change Healing Arts Program continues for the summer on site at the Latin American Association. Instructors are teaching movement classes with students who range in age from elementary to high school at two locations.
Dynamic X-Change is also growing! We are looking for new partner organizations for next season--organizations whose mission it is to help at risk populations that would benefit from the healing that comes through movement. If you know of any groups fitting this descritption that might be interested in working with us, please contact the Dynamic X-Change Coordinator

SDC welcomes summer intern
Several Dancers Core welcomes our summer intern, Melanie Brown, who joins us with an interest in arts administration and a theater degree from Auburn University. Melanie will be helping out with a variety of tasks around the office, getting a taste for the jobs of each of SDC's staff members. From production, to promotion to grant-writing, we know she'll get a feel for what makes an arts organization run smoothly!
