Salon with visiting choreographer
CORE Performance Company welcomes visiting Dutch choreographer, Beppie Blankert, during a Salon event on Thursday, September 27 beginning at 7 p.m. in the SDC studio. Blankert will be working with CORE on a new work that will premiere in the 2008-09 Season along with the work commissioned from Alicia Sanchez of Mexico. We hope you'll join us for this free event!

Guest teacher series
SDC is offering a series of intermediate/advanced modern open classes with CORE Performance Company on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10- 11:30 a.m during the fall. Distinguished guest teachers include professors from local college dance programs, and artists from other dance companies in the Georgia community. Fall Fieldwork Workshop
Several Dancers Core and Emory University Dance Program present the fall session of Fieldwork beginning Sunday, September 30 and occurring weekly through the showcase performance on December 9. Fieldwork is an indispensable tool for independent artists making new work in any discipline. Artists show work each week to a group of their peers, and receive feedback in a facilitated and non-directorial format. At the end of 10 sessions, artists have the option to showcase the product of this refining process to the public.
