Moving Foward Festival
CORE Performance Company will be performing at a benefit for the Atlanta Community Food Bank called the Moving Forward Festival on November 3 at 8 p.m. Presented by CITYDance at the Rialto Center for Performing Arts, tickets are $25, $35 and $45 and are available at the Rialto's box office by calling 404-413-9849. Audience members are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for collection at the performance.

Ready to Book workshop for artists
SDC is offering a workshop for artists who are interested in learning about promoting their work to presenting organizations. Jodi Kaplan, of Jodi Kaplan and Associates (NYC), leads a day-long workshop addressing topics such as "How to get an Agent" and block booking. Ready to Book will take place on Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in a conference room in the Ferst Center for the Arts on Geogia Tech's campus.
